Good-bye Mom’s Apron!

This year will be the year that I get the results I want to see. It will be the year I drop the weight for good. No more yo-yoing with my weight. No more saying I can’t. No more self doubt. This is the year I will change the I can’t to the I will. January 1, 2017 is page one of my 365 page book. It was a good day.

Starting weight 171. Goal weight 120.

I woke up around 8:30. I was surprised to be up so early because we went to bed so late! I put on my work out clothes and laced up my tennis shoes.  I made my way to the kitchen to stretch and drink some water. While sipping my water I searched my phone for good music to listen to while working out. I couldn’t find anything I liked so I listened to a pod cast.  I accomplished 30 minutes on my elliptical and did another 7 using the 7 minute workout app on my phone.  This app takes you thru a series of workouts in 7 minutes. It is great for beginners and you can do it at home.

For breakfast I had a biscuit, one egg and 2 slices of bacon with a cup of juiced greens.  Lunch I had a salad with avocado, tomato and a cilantro lime dressing. I drank almost a gallon of water and went pee every 10-15 minutes LOL!

I started to really want all the bad stuff but I did not give in. I cooked my family dinner and didn’t take any tastes of it. It was a good day!
